Maple Pecan Granola is a healthier granola option, great as a snack or topping on yogurt. It will quickly become a family favorite.
If you’re looking for something that will give you a boost and is great on the go snack, try No-Bake Almond Granola Bites. I also have a great pecan free granola recipe, Maple-Cinnamon Granola, and a delicious tropical twist, Pina Colada Granola
Made with flaxseed, cinnamon, rolled oats, pecans, walnuts (optional), coconut oil, and maple syrup, these are a healthier twist on a morning classic. It quickly disappeared the first time we made it. Advice – make a double batch moving forward. This Maple Pecan Granola is great as an afternoon pick-me-up snack, crumble on an evening dessert or even better, with milk or yogurt as a way to start your day. My kids love having cereal for breakfast and we do it as treat days, so they are uber excited when it is cereal day, typically every Friday or when I am out of town.
I love cereal too, but I hate that I feel like I am not giving them everything they need for the day, like a good protein, and instead just loading them up with sugar. This Maple Pecan Granola is a great balance for us all. Something easy, quick, and like a cereal, plus it has a great cinnamon-maple flavor. Add some nuts for protein and our favorite oil, coconut oil, allowing this granola to be baked with a nice little crunch.
I made this the first time and we were all eating it by the handful. I quickly made another batch to take down to my sisters for a holiday brunch. Where everyone awed over it – I laughed to myself as it was oh, so easy.
Granola is a satisfying snack for me. I always am looking for a tiny pick-me-up in the early part of the afternoon. This Maple Pecan Granola does just that. It has enough sweetness to get me by and with the combination of pecans and walnuts, I get the boost I need.
Enjoy this Maple Pecan Granola I am sure it will become a staple in your home too. XOXO San

I just made this. It did not stick together at all. It says to let it cool off before breaking it up. Not sure if I did something wrong in the recipe. It tastes good, but you have to eat it with a spool since it is not at all sticky.
I am glad you enjoyed it and it isn’t sticky. Hope you can make again soon. xo
