MANGO BERRY FRUIT SALAD – full of your favorite berries, diced up mango and drizzled with a dreamy honey-orange glaze.
Ever since we made the Lemon Poppy Seed Fruit Salad we have been on a fruit salad kick. Don’t get me wrong we eat fruit all the time. Probably too much fruit, since we have a house full of sugar addicts. My son, Cannon eats so much fruit we are having tooth enamel issues….not good and very expensive. But considering everything else in the word, bad teeth is the last thing I am too worried about. Plus some of it is gentics and the majority is that he is the youngest of 5 kids. And us helping him brush his teeth, pretty much didn’t exist, since we were like all his siblings are in there too….he’ll do a good job. Wrong! Lesson learned.
I love fruit salad because they are just gorgeous and mouthwatering. I love that you can mix up the combinations. Add different glazes and have fun changing it up.
I love the color of salad. And there is something special about the table when there are bits of color – I like everything else pretty muted. But love the food and some floral greens to dress the table up. Let the food speak the tables love language, not the napkins.
This glaze is tantalizing. And you will be making this for other salads as well. What is great about the glaze is that you probably have everything on hand. The only suggestion I would give is that I love using Tangelo oranges – they have the best tasting, sweet zest. Drooling now and wishing there were leftovers. Enjoy friends! XOXO San

My favorite kitchen items I used to make this MANGO BERRY SALAD.
Knives: A good set of kitchen knives is essential for preparing any meal. I just recently invested in some Cutco knives and I have not regretted it one bit. These are hands down my favorite knives I have owned.
Cutting Board: For me this is a kitchen must-have and kitchen counter saver. While we have counter tops you can cut on, I find that this extra step will preserve my counter. I also find that using a cut board makes for less clean up afterwards. I love this cutting board because it has a groove all the way around the board prevent juices from running all of the counter.
Mixing Bowls: I love having a variety of sizes of mixing bowls. From small to large, I find that having at least 3 bowls of different sizes has been an essential in my kitchen. I prefer Pyrex because of the durability.
Salad Bowl: I love having a beautiful salad bowl to serve my salads in. It makes a real center piece for the table and ties it all together, I love wood ones – this is one of my favorites.

- 1 lb. strawberries, quartered
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 cups diced mangoes, about 2 large mangoes
- 6 ounces fresh raspberries
- 6 ounces fresh blackberries
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 teaspoons orange zest
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
Cut all fruit as directed above. Combine all of the fruit into a large mixing bowl and toss together.
Make glaze, by in a small mason jar or cup with lid combine honey, orange zest and juice. Screw on lid and shake well to combine.
Drizzle over salad and toss to combine. Serve and devour immediately.
