Rolo & Pretzel Frankenstein Treats
When I make my Halloween Rolo Bats I thought they were so and festive and I knew that I wanted to make something else, I mean I have a ton of Rolos and pretzels left over so why not? And that is when I thought of these Rolo & Pretzel Frankenstein Treats.

Who thought that you could get any cuter than Rolo Bats, umm, well you can. These Rolo & Pretzel Frankenstein Treats are just too adorable and the kids LOVE them. The black Twizzlers were not the most loved part of the Rolo Bats, I know shocking but there isn’t one thing on these Rolo & Pretzel Frankenstein Treats that the kids and I don’t just love. My daughter took both these and the Rolo Bats to a Halloween party this week and when she left I said do you have any leftovers and she only had a few bats, she said they wanted the Frankensteins more because of the Tic Tacs. Not a surprise who doesn’t just love Tic Tacs.

Trick or Treat! XOXO San

How do you make Rolo & Pretzel Frankenstein Treats?

Preheat oven to 175 degrees.

Layout pretzels on a baking sheet, unwrap Rolo candies and place on top of the pretzels. Place in oven and bake for 3-5 minutes, until chocolate is soft. Do not over bake these, because when the chocolate hardens they will get a white outer edge if you bake them too long.

Once the chocolate is soft remove the pan from the oven immediately place two green Tic Tacs, one on each side of the Rolo, like pictured. Do each side at the same time, so that the pretzel doesn’t get pushed around the pan. Once you push the Tic Tacs into the chocolate, immediately top with two googly eyes directly on top and in the center of the Rolo. Gently press in the eyes.

Repeat with remaining Rolos, pretzels, Tic Tacs and eyes.

I like to do 12 pretzels at a time. This allows you enough time to add wings and eyes to each Frankenstein before the chocolate starts to harden.
