I love easy meals that please my family. Anything with shrimp is a hit at our house. I have never been a large seafood fan – that was until I met my husband. Now it’s on our menu at least three to four times a month. My kids love shrimp, maybe just as much as they love our Saturday Sam’s Club routine. Usually, I don’t like taking the whole family shopping as having five kids in the grocery store can be torture when they “need” everything. And you would think going with my husband would be easier. It’s not. He actually asks me to push him in the cart – true story – and buys way more than I would by myself due to his forever-14-year-old stomach.
But going to Sam’s Club on late Saturday mornings is perfect for everyone. The kids love to scope out the demo stations, and sometimes they eat enough to qualify the trip as lunch, complete with fruits and veggies if we’re lucky. If they don’t, we hit the pizza on the way out. I too love to check out the demo stations, and I have a tendency to buy several of the demo products. This kind of marketing works perfectly in my family.
The amount and variety of seafood products Sam’s Club carries always surprises me. Trust me, everything here is so easy to find. The seafood section is clearly marked in the aisle in the freezer section, with the classic white sign and Sam’s Club signature blue lettering. We especially love the demos that include seafood! {Shrimp for everyone!} We have even found some great recipes and products through these tastings.
These sliders will make an easy meal, or you can use them as a quick appetizer for game day. Cheers to easy meals that please.
Enjoy! XOXO San
How do you make Cilantro-Lime Shrimp Sliders?
Preheat oven to 425°F.
You will need 1 shrimp per roll, so depending on how many sliders you need, plan accordingly. I made 10.
Take out the amount of shrimp you need from the SeaPak® Jumbo Butterfly Shrimp package. Remove the tails and arrange them in a single layer on baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven 11–12 minutes.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, stir together KRAFT Mayo and sour cream until well combined. Mix in avocado until mixture is smooth. Add in Mrs. Dash® Original seasoning and stir.
Stir in cilantro, green onions, and lime juice until well combined. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
Once shrimp are cooked, cut a roll in half and spread 1-2 teaspoons of the Cilantro-Lime mixture on a King’s Hawaiian Roll. Top with 1 jumbo butterfly shrimp, lettuce and tomato; serve.
